More Than Just Feelings

Feeling lost and alone? Have a broken heart? Is there just nothing on television and you don't feel like going out? Then make a coffee, get your pajamas on, get comfortable and grab my book. Curl up on the couch and read. I would like my poems to, in some way, help mend those lost, broken hearts out there. I hope that in some way people can read my poetry and just take that journey into my mind and be able to be on the same level with me. The poems in my book represent everything that has happened in my life. They represent my family, friends and great passions in my life, including The Lord of the Rings. They also represent all the pain that I went through as a child growing up. Poetry, to me, is a form of release when things in my life get to an all-time low or when my life couldn't be any better. They help me express myself in the form of poetry. I think a lot of my poems, including those about broken hearts, will be close to the heart for a lot of people going through the same things in their lives. Maybe they will give them some comfort.
