There is more truth in these stories than Just Plain (imaginative) Jim wants to admit. The little deviation from the truth is often truth in itself. The stories were picked from little incidents that happened while the author was growing up in the Blackjack Hills, during and coming out of the great depression, when moving to town, going through school, and living life with itas dos, donats, and maybes.
