内容简介:
This is the story, narrated in poetry, of the indictment and incarceration of a 75-year-old chief executive officer. The poems cover a four-year period from the initial disaster to anticipation and admission, to prison, a halfway house, and, finally, release. The poems reflect the events and emotions of prison life, an inside view of the justice system, the primal solitude, determination to maintain a positive attitude, and, above all, to succor and sustain the freedom of the psyche. The ending brings the author to the realization and insight of the full meaning of freedom.
