内容简介:
My poetry is derived from lofty thoughts and simple experiences. I consider myself a romantic by nature and a common-sense kind of person by design. I write about love, hope, dreams, and sorrow. My main influences have been Emily Dickinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, although I have read and been inspired by thousands of others as well. I have seemingly eclectic tastes in literature, art, music, and movies. Even in my darkest moments, I always try to leave a light on in my work. I believe poetry to be an integral part of our culture and, as such, I feel an honorable obligation to bring healing and to not cause wounds with my words. I love my life and I think thatas revealed in the poems Iave written over the years. Weare all so much stronger than we know. Life is brief; we must savor it.
