内容简介:
Shari has worked with students with various disabilities in the public school system for over seventeen years and has served in her local church as Sunday School teacher for the youth. Through her experiences, she has seen the struggles of students as they deal with being different from their peers. Her book follows a thirteen-year-old girl, Alice, as she is removed from her home and placed into foster care. Through her foster family, Alice is exposed to a loving family and discovers a relationship with the Lord. This newly found relationship allows Alice to cope with an alcoholic mother, peer pressure, and the difficulties of having a learning disability.
