内容简介:
Newcombe grew up in Missouri, and was absolutely fascinated by wildlife of all kinds. He particularly enjoyed the outdoor observation of these creatures in a natural setting. Seeing them, finding them, and guessing what they had been doing was his fascination. Moving to Michigan in his teens offered an entirely different environment with all new wildlife to observe. Immediately after high school he enlisted in the United States Army for three years. He spent a one-year tour of duty in Vietnam as an airmobile artilleryman where he was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart. The jungles of Vietnam also served to hone his skills in the observation of exotic species. Upon his discharge from the Army, he pursued a BS degree in industrial management. This ultimately led him into a never-before documented ecosystem-the corporations of the Fortune 500. Over the years, he noticed the behaviors of his fellow employees fell into patterns that were very similar to a species he had seen so many times before.
