内容简介：
Wayne and Dancing Cloud become secret friends when they are small children. They teach each other their ways. However, as they grow to marrying age, they both know it is time to tell the world that they have fallen in love. They are both afraid to do so. Dancing Cloud marries a man whom her father has chosen for her. Wayne turns to drinking to forget his love for her. He soon marries a white woman and has children. The years pass, but the love they feel for each other stays strong, even when they are not together. Change brings the two young lovers back together just when they think they will never be together again.
