In a separate government controlled facility where some of the most top-secret findings in America are hidden and studied, several of these new war machines escape. Nearly unstoppable combat cybernals start a massive killing spree to defy mankind, and the only one capable of taking them down, is a four-foot tall armadillo cybernal, Arigo's own creation, Vortex. As the armadillo's world falls apart, his fate leads him on an incredible adventure to find his hidden potential, and neutralize not only the renegade cybernals, but a much greater threat from another world as well.
