i do still like having a "real" book in hand, so i can snuggle up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day.
part two was my favorite as it explores the "theories, predictions, and diagnosis". i've recently picked up learning more about social problems in our everyday life. malcolm has highlighted interesting topics to think further about and introduced good frameworks to look at them in depth. some say that malcolm is not a real economist - well, im not either, so having a non-economist breaking down a very complex problem into much smaller pieces and use theories that i can understand (like the difference between normal distribution and power law distribution) was extremely helpful for me...
i liked "million dollar murray" best, but given the context of what i do, it might be less interesting to others. here is a link to the second best: http://www.gladwell.com/2007/2007_01_08_a_secrets.html
enjoy!
