When Sarah's parents divorced, she never thought the judge would give her mentally ill mother custody. But now, Sarah spends every weekend with her mother. Instead of hanging out with her friends or going to the movies, Sarah fights to survive her mother's violent mood swings and wicked temper. Thrust into a depression of her own, Sarah struggles to find her place, to become more than just a victim of abuse.
