I had intended to depict the labor situation in the world today. However, as the work progressed, it became less about supply and demand. Instead, it became transformed into a degraded novel about the sexual obsession of a small number of people for robots. It has become synchronous erotica for robot fetishists and futuristic technology ne'er-do-wells. The nature of this work is speculative fiction. For "Gorgeous Robot Flesh," I have set aside questions such as "Why are we here?" or "Where is consciousness located?" in favor of other questions like "What should we be doing now that we find ourselves here?" and "How can the largest number of people be directed through mass media alone?" The possible answers are sometimes startling to behold
