傑瑞‧史賓納利 Jerry Spinelli
史賓納利小時候想當一個牛仔，現在他是一個「作家」。他於1982年出版第一本小說《七年級太空站》，1991年以《馬尼亞克傳奇》榮獲美國紐伯瑞兒童文學金獎，1998年再以《小殺手》榮獲紐伯瑞兒童文學銀獎。本書是他首次嘗試為低幼兒童所寫的童書。現在他與同樣也是「作家」的妻子定居在美國賓州。
幾米 Jimmy Liao
幾米小時候想做畫家、魔術師和火車司機。現在他是一個「繪本作家」。他畫了很多圖，出版了很多書，還被翻譯成很多國家的語言版本。現在他與妻子、女兒和三隻胖貓定居於台灣台北。
