作者简介：
塞尔玛·拉格洛夫（1858—1940），1858年11月20日出生在瑞典西部伐姆兰省玛巴卡村的一个贵族地主家庭。从小就接触到安徒生的童话，20岁以后，到斯德哥尔摩读书，毕业后在伦茨克罗纳任教师。1891年，拉格洛夫发表第一部小说《古斯泰·贝林的传说》，一举成名。 她的主要作品有小说《假基督的故事》（1897）、故事集《古代斯堪的纳维亚神话集》（1899）和以巴勒斯坦的瑞典移民的生活为题材的史诗小说《耶路撒冷》（1901—1902），以及最后一部小说《圣诞节的故事》（1938）。1906年发表的《尼尔斯骑鹅旅行记》使她在北欧获得了与安徒生齐名的声誉。1909年，拉格洛夫获得诺贝尔文学奖。1914年，她被选为瑞典皇家科学院的第一位女院士。
