Tom Kight, the youngest of three children, was raised in central Florida. Some of the poems he has written signify the trials and tribulations that he encountered along his journey through life. The poems relate to his life and the things that affected him, causing pain or joy. Tom moved to Missouri at the age of thirty and married his wife at the age of thirty-five. Together they have four children.
