The other stories, like aSubic Bay Broncs, a which took place on the Subic Bay Navy Station in the Philippine Islands between 1967 and 1968, were inspired by other outdoor adventures, while aCoupa and aIn the Face of Deatha sprang totally from the authoras imagination.
