内容简介:
This collection of poetry was written in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire. I am a mental health consumer and a breast cancer survivor. Since a young girl I have been writing poetry, and after the death of my first husband in 1995, I started sending out poetry more seriously and was greatly encouraged to start reading my poetry out loud in the Bethlehem Poetry Society by a sweet poet lady in her eighties, Myrtle Doane. I dedicate this book to her with love. I had my first chapbook published in 2004, Postscripts in Time, and have been published in various e-zines and journals. My poetry deals with changes, seasons of nature or life, the stigma of mental illness. My life has been near the shadow at times, but God has brought me through the blackness.
