I was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, in 1949. I am the oldest daughter of Clarence Graves, Jr. and Vera May Speakman Graves. I graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1967. Some of my jobs included being a police officer, corrections officer, 911 dispatcher, fire fighter, karate instructor, medical assistant, and office manager. I now work at Access Health Care Medical Center in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, as a community liaison doing marketing and public relations. On weekends, I work as a security officer at Terra Vista of Citrus Hills in Hernando, Florida. My hobbies are painting in oils, crafts, writing, and spending time with my daughter Misty and grandson Dustin Dakota. I am divorced and living in Inverness, Florida. I hope someday to be a published author of more than just poetry. I write childrenas stories, short stories and am working on a novel.
