内容简介:
This book of poetry is grounded in the people and places of northeastern Montana and the Ft. Peck Indian Reservation. I began writing these poems after I moved to eastern Washington in the mid-1990s and began to look into the past. I was seeking refuge in the midst of a new place and among new people. My poems deal with deconstructing stereotypes and myths of Pan-Indianism. I try to find the universal in the local.
