On May Day night, 1997, while the votes for election of the UK's members of Parliament are being tallied, somebody spots what appears to be a giant saucer hovering in the sky. The villagers see the "flying saucer" land near deserted Tot Castle and then fly away. However, detailed searches yield no evidence of such a landing. On 21 June 1997, Ben Joseph, proprietor of Co-Wife International, is asked for a favour by his friend, Steven Miller, Minister of Trade and Industry. The minister confesses that he is Pluto the alien, from Planet Imata, on a mission to study the Earthian vision. On his planet, human beings are souls without bodies. Hence they are parasites, and they live in the bodies of other living creatures. "Right now," he adds, "I am in the body of your minister, Steven Miller...."
