内容简介:
The global government has created a system of mandatory service that all citizens must undergo by the age of thirty. Initiation into the Dosh'tai service includes the implantation of a microchip that has the ability to locate, assess health, and disable the host. The Human Rights movement opposes the use of LAD microchips arguing that the limited rights while in service becomes an inescapable trap in the event of a fradulent charge being brought against the Dosh'tai. The activists focus on the cases of mis-incarceration to try to lift the comfortable veil of support that most citizens have been trained to give.
