Starting with only the torn page of a doctoral thesis found at a gas station and Travisa name scrawled on a piece of paper found in Coreyas apartment, Dana and Travis slowly begin to put the clues together. But circumstances conspire against them as Travis becomes the victim of a vicious accusation engineered by unknown forces, and Dana, eager for a promotion, is pressured by unwanted sexual advances. As one mystery is solved, another reaches a shocking climax in the rugged back country.
