Deidre Estam, a twenty something Israeli journalist, survives being blown up in a skirmish. Following recovery she accepts a diplomatic appointmentain Africa. On arrival in Botswana her mission is to help homeless people. Assisting Deidre is her colleague, David Ben Gersh. David and Deidre have a run-in with a Middle East killer. Only after being forced to eliminate him does a shocked David uncover the insurgentas identity, a man head known years previously in Israel. Disenchanted, David returns to his Galilee home.
