Bill Emmet, a Harvard graduate and Texas businessman, perfects a murder-for-hire business by cremating his victims. Part Four, in which the hunter becomes the hunted, traces the growing tension between Frank Noguchi and Bill Emmet. An inferno on the streets of the "City by the Bay" ends the hunt for both men.
