Lois E. Felder: aThe poems are based on the joy and sorrow that life brings. Most of my poems originate from scribbled paper while visiting friends, family and people who I meet on the streets. I listen to their stories, from happiness to sadness. The feelings that I get from them make up my thoughts, which create the lines of my poems. When I am sad, I put my feelings into the words of a poem. My poems are from the heart of how I am feeling or from someone elseas experiences.a
