Shandra Magwire was born in 1976 and raised in Nebraska. She has a degree in early childhood education and is currently working on her BA in applied psychology and human services. She is planning to go back to working with at-risk youth after her education is completed. Through her writings Shandra is able to express to others what it is like to live with what is referred to as borderline personality disorder and post traumatic stress d isorder. Her goal is to offer hope and strength to others who are battling some of these same issues while painting a picture of what it is like to live with these struggles for others who may not understand.
