Like many children, I have read the book Treasure Island and immensely enjoyed it. At the age of eleven, I had dreams of finding a large treasure. I went to sleep many a night dreaming of finding some lost treasure and helping my mom and dad enjoy life without the hassles of trying to make ends meet. This is my story of how I invented a telescope that allows you to see the glow of treasure sites in the dark. My first adventure came after Dad remembered a large two-story house at the edge of the town where he grew up. Back in the 1800s a banker from a nearby town had owned this house, or shall I say two-story mansion, that Dad remembered. We drove to the old house one day and asked a dairy farmer, the present-day owner, for permission to explore and use our metal detectors. He gave us permission to hunt for atreasure, a as he called it. The treasure turned out to be worth in excess of $7,000,000 in jewels, currency, and coins. And that was only the beginning of our adventures.
