In this sequel to A Special Time in Clear Creek, Ollie Fensterwall decides to host a Halloween party in an attempt to get Melanie Jacobson-the girl he loves who left town unexpectedly-to return to Clear Creek for a visit. However, before the party can be successful, Ollie soon discovers he must again deal with his disruptive adversary, Corky Stevens, and the new girl on the block, the mysterious Aggie Bard, who have their own plans for Ollie's party.
