A Mirror Image, written to correspond with the current time period, is the story of a fifteen-year-old boy nearing his sixteenth birthday, while his parents go through a divorce. As his parents' divorce goes on, and as his sixteenth birthday approaches, he begins to see the reflection of a different person in mirrors, when he should be seeing himself. He is able to start communication with the person whom he calls "the man in the mirror." Although he asks many times for the man's name, the man ignores the request. After thinking that there is no way that he could be schizophrenic, he begins to stumble upon information on the man in the mirror. As time passes by, the boy begins to learn more about the man in the mirror, and on the day of his sixteenth birthday, he discovers who exactly the man in the mirror is.
