Anna learns to love again when she meets Francine, a student at Swan Point. Anna and Lachesis both seek peaceful existence. Anna needs to deal with insane parents and mental illness, while Lachesis lives under threat of discovery and dissection. Together, and with the help of their sorority friends in Providence, Rhode Island, they work on overcoming these barriers.
