内容简介:
John Allen Jaynes was born in Bay City, Michigan, on July 29, 1967. A gifted child, he began drawing, playing piano and composing poetry at the age of seven. Inspired by his favorite masters, such as John Keats, Sylvia Plath, Arthur Rimbaud and Edgar Allan Poe, he developed his own style in verse. Jaynes speaks of experiences and confessions in not only his own life, but in the world around him. Growing up in a tough neighborhood and being the youngest of four children, John let his voice acknowledge itself upon the paper boldly and truthfully. He published his first poem in 1989 and has since published two books and numerous pieces in various magazines. He has won many awards for his poetic achievements. Now, after five years in the works, his first full collection of poems has been set free to the public Breaking the Silence.
