Despite distractions and uncertainties, Viper Platoon finds early success in battle. Soon, however, Davis and Lapointe find themselves detached and pinned down in an ambush by a crafty Republican Guard major and his Scorpion Battalion.As the battle rages below, unseen legions of angelic warriors launch an attack to drive back long-entrenched demonic forces ahead of the allied advance. Although highly outnumbered, guardians Stephen and Shane must protect Davis, Lapointe and their fellow soldiers from the ambush, and a counterattack by the bloodthirsty demons.
