This collection is on the Patrick Clan life, just poems and tales from her grandfather. This is the main philosophy of the Patrick Clan and their beliefs and the code by which they live. This also is how her Grandaa taught her differently about life and how to live it. It was hard to grow up without a mother and daddy, but her Grandaa did the best that he could being a poor sheepherder. He was not a very big man in stature, but was as big as a mountain in heart. He was one who lived by his wordCit was all that he really had that was important to him in the way that he lived. Teaching his granddaughter the way of things was the most important thing to him. He wanted her to grow up with honor and respect for everyone and everything that she was to come upon in her life. He did this by way of telling her tales, and by telling her things from his way of living and learning when he was a boy growing up. He was one that had a story or a poem for anything that they came upon, whether it was a bug or even a rock or a tree. He had a love of all the things that were around him in nature. For him, that was the way of the gods. To him there was a god and a goddess whom he had faith in. To the people in town that were not of the Clan, he was a very devout Catholic. For even though nowadays many people believe in the old way, he remembered the one where there were burnings of witches.
