内容简介:
This book can best be described as a self-help/autobiography describing what my life has been like since finding out I had Parkinsonas disease over fourteen years ago. In this book I take the reader through each operation from beginning to end, explaining each surgery and showing the effects they had on the patientame. I try very hard to put things that are very technical in nature into laymanas terms. Life After Parkinsonas is the type of book that can be read not only by people with PD, but their relatives and care-givers. It shows the human side of the equation and how the disease can be fought through diet, exercise, attitude, and faith. I also try to show readers how to stay positive through the bad times, and how to get up in the morning with a happy face, rather than feeling sorry for themselves.
