内容简介：
Samantha Briggs conspires with police detective Nick Bonito in a scheme to get rid of his wife, Paula. During a heated argument in a New Jersey motel, Nick renders Paula unconscious after accidentally knocking her into the motel tub. Believing he has killed her, he carries through with his plan of a fake drowning and flees to Jacksonville, Florida, with Samantha. Paula is alive but suffering from amnesia due to a head injury during her fall. She and her sister Janine travel to Jacksonville for a vacation. Paula becomes involved with Nick, who has drastically changed his appearance and is unrecognizable to the women. The four are involved in murders being investigated by the police. Nick has been hired as a private eye by two of the victims. Nick and Paula regret having concocted their web of deceit.
