AZ was born in a Midwest city on a brisk fall evening. AZ's life was nothing out of the ordinary: private elementary school, family dogs, birthday parties, Sunday morning church, and so on. AZ moved to a small Southern town when he was a teenager. During those times, AZ had many transformations: high school to fast food...fast food to college...drop out of college...back to fast food...fast food to trying times...trying times to marriage...marriage to parent...divorce...but still parent. The only difference between AZ and most others is that AZ paid attention to all the faces of life he saw on his journey. Painting the Faces of Today is a collection of the unique faces from this journey, as seen from the eyes of AZ.
