内容简介:
Carol's inspiration for writing poems developed from the result of a tragedy. In November 2002, her mother was given the news from her doctors that she had two days to live due to metastasis from colon cancer. Her mother lived two and a half months. Carol's mother died on New Year's Day 2003. Carol often refers to the two and a half months as ten years in two months. Fortunately, she was able to spend a lot of time with her mother while she was in the hospital, even sleeping in her room on several occasions. Carol states, "During this time I learned so much from my mother. She solidified what she taught me the previous years. She put the icing on the cake if you will. Mother gave me the keys to life. It is my desire that my poems bring a message of hope to all who read them."
