Since his wife's death, he has lived alone with his 13-year-old son, Eddie. While eluding the sheriff, they come upon a magnificent Appaloosa stallion. That is when the gunfire begins, issuing from an irate horse rancher who insists the stallion is a killer and must be destroyed.
