After Heidi Conner discovers the body of her boyfriend, Drake Bloom, she becomes the prime suspect in his murder. When Sergeant Ronny Wallace is called out to the scene of the crime, he is painfully reminded of his first case as a rookie and the woman whose life he could not save.
