Amanda Starr, hungry for the now long gone lights of the theatre and restless, agrees to tell the story of her life in the theatre to the young author, Chad Seton. To say the very least her life has been uninhibited and exciting. It is summer time and members of Mandy's family join her one by one at her country mansion.
