An influential Congressman is the father of one of the rebellious girls. He leads a Congressional move to rescind the War Powers Act of 1973 and disables the President's power to wage war. The Goldenhoods receive their $40 million ransom payoff from the United States. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED all around? Not quite. The surprise ending might upset the applecart.
