        克鲁格曼是诺贝尔经济学奖获得者，却写得如此平白朴实，不唯经济学知识写得简单，英语也用得平白。这两者结合，才让我等经济门外汉看得比较明白。
        对于凯恩斯主义者的克鲁格曼来说，赤字不是问题，通胀也不是问题，失业才是大问题。解决经济衰退与萧条的方法，最有效的仍是扩大政府开支。在繁荣时应该节俭，萧条时反而应扩张。如此，解决2008年以来的金融经济危机不是难事。就象其在书最后说的：“One main theme of this book has been that in a deeply depressed economy, in which the interest rates that the monetary authorities can control are near zero, we need more, not less, government spending. A burst of federal spending is what ended the Great Depression, and we desperately need something similar today.”
        当然，经济学一向是人言人殊的，是否这么做一定行也难说，但作为一家之言，只要能自圆其说，就值得一看。更何况写得这么浅显明白？
