Inspire everyone to become his/her own entrepreneur by taking advantage of open sources (software/hardware/design), crowd-funding/sourcing, DIY movement and 3D printing.
I am esp. fond of the part about Kickstarter(crowd-funding) and Ponoko(crowd-sourcing). Kickstarter has its impacts over traditional business models in two parts: 1.gives individual wanna-be entrepreneur a powerful and effective tool to evaluate their products/services before into business, which enables them to gain insights of potential customers and make the products meet the market, therefore significantly reduces the risk of unwanted products; 2.the fund-goal matching and donation way of raising funds not only allows entrepreneurs to avoid traditional lengthy and costly equity-based funding from VCs, but also locks the customers as a successful pre-sale.
For Ponoko, it eases the pain and headache on sourcing and manufacturing for individual entrepreneur, which empowers the maker/creator gain flexibility and put more efforts on product design and improvement.
