It covers all branches of linguistics and related disciplines, both theoretical and descriptive, from all geographical areas, including lesser-known and extinct languages. Current information is guaranteed by the collaboration of more than 40 contributing specialists from all over the world. The book has well over 21,000 titles arranged according to a detailed classification.
