My poetry covers a wide variety of topics and is written in various styles. I move from free verse to metric, partly because I love the challenge of writing in different forms, but also because the piece in question requires a particular style to add to the atmosphere of the chosen subject. The majority of my work holds inspirational value; at least, that is my intention. Within each piece of writing, I weave clues as to what the main story is about. Within each poem is some light, even amidst those which appear to be filled with ultimate darkness. Within each piece there is a choice, as there so often is with life. It is up to the reader to choose in which direction to go. Mother Nature is my muse.
