Trenton McClaskey was born on October 4, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio. He was raised by his mom most of his childhood. He owes much to her in helping to make him the person he is today. Currently Trenton is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in information systems management. He works as a senior field engineer for a large IT company. Writing poetry is a large pastime for Trenton, who has written most of his work over the last ten years. His inspiration comes from the many people he has met and shared memories with. Without these experiences, he would not have been able to write the poetry in Wishing on a Star.
