内容简介:
Born the youngest child of four boys, I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. I attended Saydel Consolidated High School and was the first to graduate in my family. After my parents divorced in my late teens, I was blessed with a couple of families that helped me get through my high school years. After graduation, I decided to do my duty and joined the Navy. For the most part, I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and did a tour of duty aboard the aircraft carrier USS America helping to evacuate Americans out of a tense country torn by war. After leaving the Navy with an honorable discharge, I married and was blessed with two beautiful daughters whom are now very productive women in our society. I got involved with poetry as therapy to write down my feelings. Now, it seems that whatever problems there are in the world, I am able to write these feelings down in poetic form. With this escape, I am able to see through most problems and come to some sort of conclusion about how to deal with them. Most of my poetry was written for people I know. Some of the poems are very patriotic and are written about war and repressive governments. My poetry is written on a wide variety of subjects including lost love, new love, life and death, animals and family.
