My poetry comes from my heart. Many of the poems are written from personal experiences. Those not written from personal experiences are written from the way I might see, hear, taste, or view the subject at hand. When I pick up my pen to write, I never know what it is exactly that will be written until I set my pen down and have to go back and read what I just wrote. My Lips, My Voice, My Words is exactly that. I hope you enjoy the many different subjects and styles of poetry that I have put into this book, and I also hope that everyone who reads this can relate to or can feel something from at least one poem.
