Mrs. Poe is blind and an outcast, but fate intervenes to send her four children and two ghosts to help her solve a puzzling mystery. The four children are the Tree House Ganga]Billy, Mary, Marty and Janie. When they meet Mrs. Poe for the first time, they realize their lives would never by the same. They become friends, and she reveals a dream that involves all of them. Her dream points to an old mansion hidden behind her property. When the children start to investigate it, two ghosts named Faith and Tom appear. Together they get embroiled in a mystery that started decades ago. The children will have to face their own fears, danger and frustration. Will their love for Mrs. Poe and their promise to Faith and Tom be enough to help them see it through to its conclusion? Will they become heroes and open the eyes of the townspeople to their own shallowness?
