Beth Ann Jasper has lived plain all of her life as a member of the conservative Mennonite community. Although she completed her education through the tenth grade at her Mennonite school, Beth Ann longs for more. With a brave heart and strong faith, she enrolls in public high school, thus facing many obstacles and temptations. With her cape dresses and headcovering, Beth Ann introduces a new standard of dress and attitude amongst her worldly classmates.
