I do not understand, Why these tortures have been placed upon my doorstep, Why I must endure all this pain. I do not understand, Why our worlds are separate, Why you don't see what I see, Why you don't feel and hear what I do. Please understand these are the words of a tortured mind. You see we have many faces; we look just like you. You say that we are different because we are sick. I suffer from a hereditary disease, schizoaffective disorder. I have had this disease since I was eleven. It affects me in many ways. By writing this book, I hope to have let the world know what it is like to go through this and to let those out there that suffer with this to know it's okay.
